<p>i just got an email regards my financial aid. i have been awarded an x number despite the fact that i did not submit any documentation. does the financial aid office request any proof of income? </p>

<p>I got an email today too, but that’s after submitting my additional documentation. I also did not get as much as expected. It looks like I’ll have over $25,000 in loans (over half being private loans) this year, and that’s coming from a family of four with an annual income of $45,000. I didn’t have to get any private loans at my previous school (although I did pay around $9k out-of-pocket), and I transferred here because I thought it would be more affordable. Oh well. :/</p>
