Our DD has an unweighted GPA of 4.0. For the purposes of class ranking our high school only uses 22 classes to come up with the weighted GPA. At the end of 11th grade our DD actually has 26-will end up with 33 at graduation. If you use all 26 classes her weighted GPA is higher than if you only use 22. We reported the weighted GPA that the high school uses and lists on her transcript. Should we have actually reported what her real weighted GPA is since it takes into account all of her high school credits?

Ask your GC. Many at your daughter’s school must have the same situation.
