Did you change your image from highschool to college?

What I would like to know is if anyone is the complete opposite of the person you were in highscool now that your in college. Meaning did you COMPLETLEY revamp your image? Like if you werent a drinker or partyer in highschool do you do it every weekend now that your in college? If you did re-invent your self why? Was it just for a change or did the person you were in highschool to "uncool" to cut it in college. Id be really curious to know.

nope, still true to myself.

I feel more like I can be myself here than in high school. But I was myself then too. It's just nicer now :) But I am still quiet..... :-/

Well, I would like to reinvent myself...and by reinvent I mean be the person I always was, but was just too much of a pussy to be in highschool.

I was a band geek in high school, and now I'm captain of the college cheerleading squad! :D

I didn't really do it on purpose, though... just sort of happened.

I was a band geek in high school that didn't party at all, and now i've joined a fraternity and party all the time. I think I dress a lot more artsy now too. I don't know which me I like better...

High school is lame. I've always had a good time but last year most of my friends graduated or dropped out. I'm not full of myself or anything but I feel I'm more mature than a lot my peers - or at the very least, have different priorities. Yea, I'm a drinker and a pot-smoker, but I'm not into that crowd of people who are all superficial, materialistic and constantly worried about saying the right things and not being true to themselves. I'm not willing to blow off the guy I really am, or spend $$ on five of the same pair of shoes. Since I'm only at school for a couple hours a day (I finished most of my credits last year), I just kind of do my own thing; go, get my **** done and leave. Often I'll see people in the halls I haven't seen in a while and they'll be "I didn't know you still went to this school". For the most part college isn't as bad, so its not reinventing yourself but just being who you are and not worrying about all that immature highschool ********. It's okay to try different images, that's what adolescents do to find who they really are.

I'm pretty much still the same person. I still have the same type of friends, still don't drink or party, still study hard, etc. I am more social, but that, for me, simply means walking down the hall of the dorm visiting friends, going to hockey and football games, etc. I still have not set foot in a party, and don't really intend to.

^^^ I agree. Even though I have been to a couple parties.....and they sucked! Frat parties suck, at least..... House ones are pretty good....but still.....

I've been the same person since 1986. Never have changed one bit, and no intentions of doing so! I like the way I am...what you see is what you get!

Hmmm, in college I changed somewhat. I got a whole bunch of new clothes, work out more often, study much more, and only party occassionaly as opposed to high school where I would party thursday-saturday non stop lol and studied like 7 hours a week o_O
