@skieurope Sorry for getting further off topic but just to clarify - my objection was that something was presented as a real life situation that was being encountered only to find out that the situation/question was simply something that “came to mind” and was posted to elicit comments on CC because he/she was bored at college. If something is a hypothetical situation it would be nice it if the OP presents as such from the start – that way posters can take that into account when deciding if they want to respond or not. I understand it is not against the TOS. And I also understand that I am free to ignore/not respond to any posts.
So, posting in the general/off topic area would be more appropriate? Plus, my posts only come every so often, depending on the situation.
However, I’d always be open to helping out someone, when it comes to giving them notes that they missed.
You may be missing the point.
Why not just post that xx doesn’t affect you, but you’re curious? In general, more helpful to let readers know just enough, not to need to assume. Then they can decide if they want to “help.”
