<p>On a selfish note, this forum is depressing me! haha. I never received email #2 from Cal Rentals... and now... NO CALL from UCLA! I'm definitely not feeling too confident. </p>

<p>Ya I got a voicemail from some UCLA chick too! Her name was Alex and she called at 7:54. Straight from my voicemail. Here's the script she was reading: "Hi my name is Alex, and I'm a current student at UCLA and I'm calling today to invite you to apply fot merit-based scholarships that are availble to incoming transfer students throgh the UCLA almuni program...." I have a 4.0 gpa, biz-econ major with one pre-req missing (calc 2). I'm going to be so disappointed if I don't get accepted now!</p>
<p>Pinktee- I'm an L.A. gal I don't think I'd actually leave to go to Berkeley, but on hindsight, I should have.</p>
<p>p.s. My girl's name was Karen. Wow, they had a bundle of them calling. I can just imagine, a cold basement underneath UCLA where these people were calling from. It's a plot to drive us 1. crazy as seen through this thread or 2. happy. woot woot.</p>

<p>To those who have received the call, does the first letter of your last name come early or late in the alphabet? They could possibly be going down a list arranged in alphabetical order, as mine is later in the list and I have yet to receive a call, while I have received a Regents invite.</p>

<p>Hongda- I am taking 3 pre-reqs this semester too, & 6 classes overall. My major has 7 pre-reqs. It's fine as long as you complete them spring prior to transfer. Considering the grade trend (4.0) I think they'd be confident in your abilities to maintain a high, if not perfect GPA.</p>
