<p>I got a call from a student at Stanford wishing me congrads and offering to answer a few questions.</p>

<p>I'm from the U of C board (EA acceptee)..I got a call, too. Looks like the colleges like to keep up.</p>

<p>hey guys...no worries...i know there's a lot of hype, pressure going on at this point in your high school careers, personal lives, etc., and there's reason to be anxious, but I'm a current Stanford 08er and I know that we're really excited about getting calls out to the EA admits (and call will be continuing to be made throughout the weekend and into the next weeks mostly be freshman and possibly others who want to volunteer- and believe me, there are a lot of us!)</p>
<p>We're really excited about all of you strongly considering coming to Stanford and encourage you to find out more about what you'll be going through in the next four years if you decide to come here, so, enjoy the rest of senior year and hope to see you next year here on the farm!</p>
<p>so they called again yesterday night and it was sooo awesome. we talked for a while and it was so great to get all my questions answered - and the girl i talked to was soo sweet. for any 08 callers reading this, thank you soo much for doing this! it really put a smile on my face - and especially with the whole ea thing (i am applying to one other school) the phone call reminded me again why i love stanford so much.</p>

but then again, an international might just drop by and kill my statement...</p>
<p>and with the time difference (if you're living in asia especially) i highly doubt you will be receiving a call...</p>
