Has anyone gotten a callback for the BFA acting program at Pace after submitting their video audition? How long did it take to hear back after submitting?
ALSO, does anyone know about how many people the give callbacks to? Im really curious.

My S got a callback for Pace MT a few days after submitting the video. Not sure about Pace but in general most pre-screen programs get about 400-600 videos and callback about 100-200. I think those numbers are for MT and acting combined.

I just recieved my callback for the BFA acting. Im so excited and it makes me even more excited that they only callbacka few hundred!!! Awesome :)

Does anyone else have any idea about how many people they callback? I know they audition more than 400. They say they audition 1500.

And by audition i mean they say they recieve about that many video submissions.

Hi everyone!

Pace Performing Arts here! Just to add a little transparency to the process: yes, we’ve seen a lot of video auditions (first auditions) this year - more than even mentioned here but I’d rather not add to the anxiety. What you should know, however, is that the head of each program personally reviews each video and typically, we send out callback decisions with with 36 hours. Yes, it is true that we do not call everyone to our on-campus audition and this varies per program. These decisions sometimes take a little longer to make because we want to be ABSOLUTELY sure before we communicate that we won’t be able to see them for the on-campus audition. It’s not easy for us either in many cases. We see many very talented individuals and a “no callback” decision is NEVER meant to imply that you or your son/daughter shouldn’t continue to pursue his or her craft.

I hope this information helps and happy auditioning!!
