Did you get an ED survey from W&M?

Just trying to make sure this isn't a virus/trojan/worm, whatever. My D got a request from someone from the W&M Enrollment office, with a return e-mail address that was different than his name, requesting that she click on a link to fill out a survey. I never like to click on a link without knowing what it is, so I've asked her not to respond until we can do a little more research. Yes, I know I can contact Admissions, but I also know they must be terribly busy, so I'd rather not have my daughter pester them for something so mundane.

Anyone else get this survey? Take it?

Thanks -- and good luck with your ED application.

1) Is the email @wm.edu?
2) If you hover your mouse over the link you can see where it leads to. Is it the schools or a real company’s website?
3) What did they say the survey was about?

My son got a survey today as well. I was wondering what to make of it. Anyone?

I got it too.

It is anonymous. It doesn’t ask you anything personal, not even your name.

It’s the typical

-Did you originally intend to apply ED?
-Why did you apply to W&M?

thing

My WOT told me it was safe, and the website was a wm.edu page.

I even checked the survey software publisher (Opinio) that was linked at the bottom.

Looks legit to me. -shrug-

Yeah, W&M uses opinio a lot.
If that helps at all.
