i just found out i got deferred... im pretty happy that i didnt get rejected! i thought i would for sure because im an asian girl and were like the most common demographic. at least when people ask me if i got in i wont have to say that i got rejected? ah well.

I got rejected... must be because I'm an asian boy... girls definately get preference....

hey jackiesakura what was your stats...

i feel awkward saying this now, but i got in :)

I'm an Asian boy and I got in.

well congratulations to the people who got in!! pacific 34 im a 4.0 student but i go to an arts magnet academy and i lived in japan on scholarship last year... probably why i got deferred

deferred.
is there anything i can do to brighten my application?.. or should i just wait?
congratulation guyss!

got in!

I am basically trying to find out if i am in a dream or not. definitely was not expecting to get in. It's such a good feeling, tho

nice job, guys who got in. That's great. I also got deferred, in limbo now lol...for those of you who got accepted, what kind of stats do you guys have? And race and gender, if that's not too forward of me to ask. I'm just trying to get an idea of who got in and who didn't. Thanks.

umm... i dont think i got in b.c of numbers, but here goes:

from columbia, MO
Rock Bridge High School, male
GPA: 3.95, #27 of 624
ACT: 35,
SAT: 800m, 800w, 660r
5 AP's: 5 in each

spent 6 months on essays- they were pretty good- probably the reason i got in
I work about 30hrs a week, participate in MUN, math competitions, religious organizations, "peace jam" (a club for people trying to change the world's social "gradient of inequality" through small projects)... some others

o, and i've also finished 3 extra semesters of math at the Univ. of Missouri- through matrix theory.

considering that other's had almost the exact same profile as me from my school, some better by a lot, i think the essays were the real difference

good point. I probably should have spent more time on my essays. That's great that you're involved in all those ECs and still excel in school and in the extra math classes. So do you think you're headed for Stanford for sure then?

And may I ask what MUN is?

how many ppl got in this yr EA??and congrats to everyone who got it!!!i was an early admit last yr and for the rest of senior yr u feel like ur walking on a cloud..whenever something goes wrong u get sad for a second then ur like..well next yr ill be at stanford lol

MUN: Model UN.
Im probably going, depending on money...

I also got deferred.... =( / =)

i got in! life is good.

i read an article that said 738 out of 4551 got in early action. that's a tiny freaking number!!

well it's not really that small is it, I mean they only admit like 2200 total right? Something like that I think. About 750 from EA doesn't sound too small.
