<p>Got into first choice: ERC. </p>

<p>Is it just the massive amounts of GE requirements that people find unappealing about ERC? Or is it something else? I don’t feel too bad about the GEs since I only have 3 classes to take (yay UC Reciprocity), but if there’s something else, then I’m worried.</p>

<p>It is solely the extra GEs that bother me. I stopped by the advising office the other day to get some paperwork signed for my GI Bill verification and I found they were very helpful and nice. I am sure it is a fine school; I just would rather not have to take the extra 3 GE classes.</p>

<p>gaiou, I’m not sure if you mean you want me to do it for you personally, or just change my college. But at any rate, if I am not going to attend there, it won’t make a difference. Once I’m out, a new spot will be open, and then hopefully you can get in!</p>

<p>Well, I said maybe about that whole college having to do with major. That was just a guess. OK, perhaps a bad guess in this case. My sample size was too small to extrapolate.</p>

<p>If you have to request a college change before rejecting the offer or the spot won’t be open.</p>

<p>No but I think you have to wait until June 1st (deadline for SIR) and after the orientation with your specific college.</p>

UCSD waited till April 30 to admit me which was slighly annoying! I have already sent my SIR to UCLA… </p>
