<p>Is it frowned upon to go over the limit for the optional/professor/why penn essays?</p>
<p>I did not follow the character limits for the Optional (p. 217) essay or the Why Penn essay. They gave you the option to upload a document, so I don’t think that the character limits are hard and fast rules (unless you try to fit it in the space provided). However, I did keep both essays to one page.</p>
