did you know this?? no more satIIwriting

Q: Will the SAT II: Writing Test still be offered after the new SAT is introduced?
When the new SAT is introduced in March 2005, it will include a writing section with content similar to the SAT II: Writing Test. For this reason, the SAT II: Writing Test will no longer be offered after January 22, 2005.

To determine which SAT II: Subject Tests you should take for college admissions, talk to your counselor and check with the college admissions offices.

this is from collegeboard

who didnt know this...do you happen to love on earth?

yeah, everybody knows that

okay okay sorry ::hides in corner::

yea. everyone knows this

i didn't, but i don't care cause i done with this testing crap.

just wondering.. do u think colleges that normally require 3 SAT II's (one of them being writing) will only require 2 SAT II's after January 22, 2005?

Most will require two - but to be certain, check the school's website. All (or at least, most) address this issue directly.

My counselor didn't know this............

Straight from UC Freshman Elgibility Index...

Note: For Fall 2006, new exam requirements will go into effect. Students must take either the new SAT I (critical reading, mathematics, and writing) pr the ACT Accessment plus the new ACT Writing Test. In addition, all applicants must complete two SAT II Subject tests in two different areas.

Glancing at that I notice a couple of things

HOLY WHAT THE *ING * NO MORE ANALOGIES WHY CANT I GRADUATE NEXT YEAR

LOOKS LIKE FOR SAT II MATH 1C or IIC is not REQUIRED. Just two test in different areas. EX: Literature and Biology, Biology and Spanish, Spanish and Math 1C, Math IIC and Literature.

This is a much easier system to get points.
