My D emailed her APUSH & Calc teachers for her grades. The APUSH teacher responded - a ‘5’! Given the 2 year commitment, she was very happy. Haven’t heard from Calc.

At D’s hs, taking the AP exam is mandatory. And it doesn’t serve as the final exam…that’s an entirely different exam (same material, though) during regular finals week.

Is APUSH a 2 year course at your school? Just one at our HS.

^just one year at ours, too. ???

Oops, I was mistaken. I’m thinking of Dual Credit US History, not APUSH (as being a one-yr class).

A few years ago we discovered that the college board had only sent Carnegie Mellon only half the scores when he only got credit for half of them. (They had a place for students to check - it also showed whether they’d gotten the final school report and stuff like that.) I’d love it if there were something similar for younger son - still no scores here in NY - but I don’t believe there is.

No scores yet in Florida.

SoCal arrived today:)

Sitting on the counter waiting for DS to get home in Houston.

Nothing today on the East coast.

Both kids got them today in TX

Also SoCal, but no scores yet. Maybe they are being sent out randomly?

CMU received scores – as students can now see AP placement credit on the CMU pages…but most students (judging by the CC CMU page and FB pages) did NOT get anything in the mail…also some expressing surprise that credit seems to be missing for exams they were convinced they had earned 5s.

My kid found out today that UT got theirs.

My son, an incoming freshman, found out his scores on his college webstite. It was listed as part of his unofficial transcript. If you will be attending college this fall, your college already received this info electronically and they probably put this into their system. You can already access this to find out.

In fact, you probably should because it is part of your record.

My son just heard his Music Theory AP score yesterday from his teacher–so at least the teachers have them, or have that one, here in Boston. But he hasn’t gotten anything directly yet.

D received hers today in Austin.

SoCal scores arrived today!

We have not received younger S’s scores yet, but his Chemistry teacher emailed him and told him he received the only 5 in the class.

So we know the Chemistry score now, and wait for the remainder of the scores on Long Island.

Congratulations on your 5! I wonder why schools are getting scores before the kids receive them at home?
