Did you update your interviewers in April?

If you got into the interviewer's alma mater, did you contact him/her with further questions?

It’s always kind to let alum interviewers know whether or not you get in. Typically, the colleges don’t tell them. Whether or not students I’ve interviewed got in, I’ve appreciated hearing from them, and have stayed in touch with some --including some who were rejected – for years. One is now in her second year of grad school, and another is in her first year of grad school. Another is now in her mid 30s and flies around the world doing things in her field. All of these were students rejected by my alma mater, but as is the case with most applicants to my alma mater, they were outstanding students with bright futures ahead of them – wherever they ended up going to college.
