Did your interviewer write notes during the interview?

Are there any forms from Yale that interviewer needs to fill in?

They fill out a report to the admissions office afterwards. My interviewer didn't take notes at all nor did he want me to bring any type of resumes.

no. my person wanted my resume though

yes, notes. no resume. I seriously considered sneaking over and checking them when he left the room...

He wrote them down at strange times, too....

"Applicant seems to be mentally insane..."
"Haven't the foggiest idea why I let her into my home..."
"I like her shoes. Dress, not so much. Why the tights?"

Ok, I've lost it. Yay :-)

Yeah, definitely took notes...he even asked me how to spell a few things...haha. He barely looked at my resume, only at the very end of our discussion to see if he missed anything at all.

no resume. but he took notes. He made me slow down when i spoke so he could copy down what i said. it really ruined the interview

Ew. What a buzz-kill

Way to kill the mood =P

she took notes. specifically told me to not bring a resume nor anything else. she also asked me to elaborate on a few things while she was writing so she could be thorough in her report

I write few notes. Really just memory joggers like: really into Basketball, good idea about Debate, etc.

I left the table at one RD interview to get my coffee order. I'm sure the girl snuck a peek at my notepad. LOL

My was about 35-40min.

1 hour...it was an amazing experience..the guy was brilliant, and even if I get rejected, the interview was still worth it..

mine was 45 min

45 for me too

mine was half an hour because he scheduled two right next to each other. he made the other girl wait for ten min though so we could talk a bit more :-)

My interview was about an hour and 10 minutes. The interviewer didnt take notes and didnt want a resume. It was just about my interests. We had a lot in common and it was really fun arguing about Harry Potter. lol

Mine was 45 minutes as well. We talked about everything, from America's foreign policy, to problems at my school, the area around New Haven, football, and harry potter. yeah, all over the place.

My interviewer and I clicked immediately

He was SUCH a cool guy, and he didn't even write down anything.

Actually, he only asked me TWO questions and the rest of it was just us talking about our experiences and such

that 1 hour 20 minutes seemed so short

....I never got called for an interview.

And am feeling screwed-er and screwed-er with every day that passes before 12/15.

My interviewer didn't take notes. Kind of glad, because I think I would have been like 10x more nervous if she did.
