32 -> 28. :mad:

Damn chemistry passage ruined my score. Could've gotten a 33 or 34. Oh well, I'm happy with a 32.

Math went up two points to a 32 even though I guessed on like 7 questions.

Yes, mine went down by 2. Math went up by 3. I've normally done better on the science in the past.

hells yeah -3

Same, -3 here as well.

Nope, mine went up 9 from 22 to a 31

Science score up by 9! Congrats - how did you prepare differently this time?

yeah~ guitarman!! please tell us how you improved so dramatically!!

i need to go from a 24 to a 30!! any advice would be greatly appreciated. =]

I also went up 9, from a 23 to a 32. I didn't study science at all this time. It just seemed easier than it was in June.

I went up from a 23(when I had 31,32,31) to a 30(when I got 30,35,28). So the science going up balanced out my strongpoints going down. All I really did was take like 2 practice tests but KNOW exactly where I would go the moment the test started. Also make sure you are hyper aware and point with your pencil to everywhere you're looking. That way you won't be looking at Figure 1 instead of Figure 2 and you won't get confused.

my science went up by two, but my overall went down by two. sucks!!!

I went up 5. I got 30 last time and a 35 this time with basically no studying on it. I thought the science section was extremely easy this time and finished with almost 5 minutes to go.

nope.got a 30..first real test i've taken though

I don't know who took the june one here but all the "experiments" were just EXTREMELY long essays. It was the most difficult test I've ever taken and honestly really wasn't fair (it was completely a test of reading, not science, even moreso than usual). So people who are having these massive improvements probably took that one.

Mine actually went up from a 30 to a 35! I felt like this science section was easier than normal, and I had a lot of background chem knowledge from AP Chem last year.

I took AP Chem last year and it didnt really help me much..lol

Titan124 is right. Basically the only reason my score jumped so much is because of how ridiculously difficult the June science was. Seriously, it wasn't even fair, and in fact it ruined my composite. I didn't do any prep, my score just jumped 9 points. There aren't really any secrets, sorry.

Yeah down 2 lkJKLJDLKJRKLEJR 30 to 28 boo

umm yeah science is a pain.
for me: 25-->33--->27. gay.

Guitarman, Same exact thing as me. The June science was just ridiculously hard...I did nothing special to go up 9 pts.

Wait, June was hard so this one was easy? Seriouly? Oh, sheeeeeep.

My friends and I thought the Sept. science section was ridiculous and sooo difficult, and my best friend and I got 22s even thought we got in the 30s consistently on the official practice tests the ACT puts out.

Great, now I'm kind of terrified of taking it again if this one was supposed to be easy.
