Didn't apply this year so maybe transfer?

During the time when applications were due I was kinda lax in my attitude and only applied to two schools (Northeastern-they gave me 11k/year and UDel-didnt hear back yet), but now as I think about it more I should have applied to BC. As it stands now I’ll probably go to Northeastern for my freshmen year and I’m interested in transferring to BC after.

I plan on majoring in history, so what should I strive for for next year in order to be a good transfer candidate? My sat was 690 CR 630 Math 700 Writing, 3.9 W, 3.8 uw, rank 10 out of 240, and if you need to see anything else from my resume/whatever you want to call it in order to adequately tell me my chances for next year let me know. Thanks

I'm not too familiar with the quality of accepted transfer applicants, but Boston College typically accepts around 10-13% of those that apply.

My D is thinking of transferring from Conn to BC..Check the info on their website carefully...a 15 % acceptance rate in 2005, and transfers are not guaranteed housing past one semester...so you would have to get an off campus apt...My d was already deferred and waitlisted and rejected last year so I can't believe she is going to try again...You may just want to stick to Northeastern and be happy where you are!

you probably would have got in this year
