Didn't Complete>30 Cr. After Graduating

When I first started researching transferring to UMD I thought all you needed to do was complete 15 credits and then Maryland wouldn't look at your High School grades, but after reading UMD's transfer page they're requesting my High School transcript (which is exactly what I was trying to avoid through transferring). So my question is this: will a college really look at your High School performance (i.e. extracurriculars, awards, GPA, etc.) like a freshman, or will they just gloss over it.

Stats (if it helps)
In-State C.C. GPA: 3.415 w/ 15 cr. hrs
-Took about 13 cr. hrs senior year
Upward trend in GPA (took credits in the summer, got a 3.1, then a 3.5)
Completed required English (AP Lang) and Math credits for UMD
Applying for a Fall 2013 transfer

You would have to ask UMD how they would evaluate your info. However, the CDS https://www.irpa.umd.edu/menus.cfm?action=cds</a> states they only ask for HS transcript for some students. This would indicate that if you wait until you get your AA they won’t look at your HS info.
