<p>I applied to Uchicago early, but didn't get any email or notification... Did I mess up something? I did take advantage of the Hurricane Sandy deadline. Does this make a difference? Or did they just not get my stuff? It says on the home page that they received my forms though...</p>

After checking my common application, I am convinced that this problem was a fault of my own, due to the fact that although everything was turned in on the ninth (which was the Sandy deadline), my application was “downloaded” on the tenth, which meant that I passed the deadline. I believe that due to this reason, the common application didn’t offer me an early action option, and automatically defaulted to regular decision. If this was the case (which I am almost sure it is), is there anyway that UChicago could send me a notification earlier than the regular decision pool, even if I am no longer eligible for comparison to the early action pool?</p>
