I just got my letter from UMass Amherst and I was accepted, but I didn't get into the computer science program. They put me down as undecided. Is there any way i get try to get back into the program next semester or next year or next two years? if so, how? How would this affect the type of classes i'll be taking if i attend the school? SOMEONE HELP!!

I’d also be interested in the answer to this question, I was put down as undeclared as well.

All is not lost. I can’t give you any stats which would tell you how to guarantee admission to the major. Make sure you study hard and get good grades, especially in CMPSCI121 (Introduction to Problem Solving with Computers) and Math 131 (calc 1). Read the link below. And make sure you click on the link “Current UMass Students Click here for Application Process.”
