<p>I haven't made it into Penn State Smeal's Finance program, though I have been accepted into Marketing [such a great future ahead, right?]. Suppose I do go on and get my BA in Marketing, would I still be able to get into a Finance MBA program? If I cannot, what is there to do with a Marketing degree? I honestly don't see Marketing being as successful as Finance.</p>
<p>Apply to other schools. Marketing is definitely not the way to go. </p>

<p>If you don’t want to transfer as firesafetybear suggests, have you considered a master’s degree in finance? As long as you take some math courses, you should be prepared well enough. Those don’t typically require work experience.</p>
