I just noticed that my application says I only took .5 of year on a language other than English. If I would have seen it earlier, I could have taken the SAT Spanish subject test or gotten a waiver from my counselor. I know it’s too late now. So would the CSUs even consider me? Would it help if I exceeded the 15 years of A-G classes by taking 22 years?
Unless the 0.5 year was the second half of the second year course in high school or a higher level course than that, you need to use one of the alternate means of fulfilling that requirement (SAT subject test, AP test, etc.). You may want to ask CSU directly if taking the SAT subject test or AP test in Spanish this year will be accepted (assuming that you score high enough).
