Is Yale still sending out interview requests? I have heard of 2 students from my school who received an interview a few weeks ago, but I still haven't received any notice as of now.

I scrolled through the threads, but I think my question is different in that I have heard of a few students at my school who have received interviews; however, a few weeks have passed and I’m wondering if Yale is still offering interviews.

Call Yale admissions office and tell them that you did not get the interview call/email. They will tell you what you need to do. I called a month ago when my D did not get the interview email. They said that she should get it by end of FEB. She got her call call in few days…

Interview season officially ended on Frebruary 15th although a few late interviews may have been requested or submitted. At this point interviews should have been made available to all who could be accommodated. Statistics show that the acceptance rate among interviewed vs. not interviewed students is the same so you are at no disadvantage that they could not get you interviewed.

^ Thank you, that gives me a little reassurance. I’ve been waiting for my Yale interview, but because it is past the deadline, would you recommend that I still try to call/email them about it?

It’s too late to get an interview. If you don’t have an interview, it just means there weren’t available alumni in your area. You will not be at a disadvantage.
