Didn't take a required course becuase I was able to skip it

UC Berkeley's Assist page writes that to be considered for transfer admission, I have to take two courses of single-variable calculus among other math courses as a math major. Problem is, I took AP Calculus AB and got a 5 such that I was already given credit for the first course for single-variable calculus (differential) here at UC Irvine.

UC Berkeley also gives entering freshmen credit in Math 1A (Calculus).

However, since I'm trying to transfer, does skipping one of the required courses for admission because I was given AP credit hurt my chances?

I sent a message to the admission office about this and never got a reply.

I don’t think so. You should be able to just send your scores and get credit for the class

Well you have credit for 1 Ap course right, so what about the other?
To me it looks like you are missing the 2nd calc course

Yeah, I took that one in college and got a B+. So I guess I’ll be okay then :)

so u got credit for AP Calc in high school
and took 2nd sem calc in college (should be Math 1B not 1A)
then u should be fine
