Hi guys! My senior year is coming up and I will be skipping pre-Calc and going straight into AP Calc AB. I don't think my school will allow me skip Calc AB and go straight to BC. So my question is will taking Calc AB and not BC hurt my college admission chances? Cause I know I will be competing with kids who have taken both. Thx!

No. This year at my school
2 of 5 Harvard accepts didn’t take BC
Just about every single one of the 5 Penn accepts didn’t take BC
Over half of 12 Columbia accepts didn’t take BC
Over half of 38 Cornell accepts didn’t take BC
…
And half of the 100 kids or so that did take BC didn’t end up at a top 30. So don’t fret over something trivial like this. Work on what will make you stand out from these kids. Although having taken BC will definitely help you out once you’re IN college…

Damn, may I ask what school you went to attribute? Those are impressive numbers for Ivy League admits.

Bronx Science in New York!

Thx! U guys have made me feel a lot better about this
