Didn't tick any of "If applicable, do you plan to participate in college?"

When inputting, it says "I intend to participate while in college" -- I thought it asked if I intended to continue the CURRENT activity. Since I am an international, I assumed I wouldn't continue any of those exact activities so I ticked NONE.

HOWEVER, after submitting I realize that the Common App Form actually says
"If applicable, do you plan to participate in college?" which has a DIFFERENT meaning (if applicable), and I probably should have ticked it for some of the volunteer work...

Will having None of those ticks for ECs hurt?? My ECs are kind of weak already.. Does it matter? :S

What should I do?

You can ignore it.
This question matters for a student continuing (or not) in a sport they played in HS, or on the newspaper staff, or debate team, or the kinds of ECs that are found both in HS and college. Whether or not you continue to do minimal volunteer work will not make any difference in your chances for admission.

However, I ticked none, which kind of looks bad… There were at least 1 or 2 I couldve selected I think.

Its the type of thing thats too trivial to report but still comes off negatively IMO

LOL, I never even noticed that question! I left the whole thing blank as well. I was not punished.

^haha that’s a relief.
