Didn't use social security # as a standby tester?

I took my first ACT today and I basically took it on a whim because my guidance counselor told me I should (I've been working at the SAT for the past 9 or so months). The thing is, I didn't have my social security number with me and the proctors all told me (along with a few others) not to worry about it. The thing is, they need some sort of match number (social security #, ACT ID, etc...) to let me make my account. Will my scores be mailed to me or is there some way I can view them online? I don't really know if you'll be able to answer but if you can, thanks for the help :)

haha same.
I believe it is mailed and online

You will be mailed your score report. A social security number would allow ETS/ACT to match you with your online account, but it is by no means required.

Yay for standby! I took it today as well.

Match numbers were only for people that mailed in a registration…aka not us.

I was reading through the ACT book in the registration packet and I THINK we can register online once we get our score reports :slight_smile: At least the next time I take the ACT (which will hopefully be never), I can see my score online.

What if I put my social security number on the score sheet but not the registration form? Can I make an online account and get my results in two weeks like the rest

@AmericanPegasus, I’m pretty sure that even if you put your social security number in your scores will still be delayed, maybe just less than those of us who didn’t.

@rainbowrose How long?

@Americanpegasus I don’t know for sure but since you can make an online account, you can view them AS SOON AS they are ready. I believe their website says after the 28th they add new scores every Wednesday and Friday between the 28th and August 2nd.
