what are the MAP requirements for CAS (like what classes and how many you need to take)? and what is the difference between MAP and the required courses for GSP??

They are the same types of classes, just taught by different profs. The MAP classes are larger, but they are also taught by much more distinguished professors. Some MAP classes will also have Stern and Steinhardt students.

so then do CAS and GSP students take the same number of core classes?? im just afraid that if i go into GSP, i will have difficulty in completing my major within the four years

I'm going to GSP but before I decided I went to an info. session to make sure it made sense and what not.
To me, it sounded like the classes you take in GSP just about complete your requirements so that in your junior and senior year you can concentrate on your major.
