diff between taking mico inclass or online.

In summer in planning on taking microeconomics online. Im good at reading and comprehending information if i have to do it independently. My concern was will i miss out on more indepth subjects if i stick to the online course? Or do you guys suggest i just take it inclass during summers it could be 2 hours.im at a ccc right now planning on applying to universities in fall of 08' so im trying to get as much pre-reqs done now.

I have been teaching at a cc for 18+ years and teach both live and distance learning classes. In advising I tell students to try and take all classes that have a follow up class or that are related to their major in person, if possible. I you expect to utilize the knowledge that would be acquired in micro in another class, do it in person. The timeline for summer school is generally half that of a regular semester, so you will already be pressured for time. When you take a class online you add additional pressure by becoming not only the student, but the first line teacher as well. Traditionally an online instructor lays out a plan of study and provides support, but primary responsibility is on the student.

my major is business admin-concentration in finance. so im guessing i should take microeconomics in class rather than doing it online

yes i would rather take econ in class than online
and leave BS classes for online (if taking any)

I really want tofinish micro in teh summer, but th only micro class is online.

i still got to take FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING ,MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING, business law and was planning to take all those in fall of 08. Im planning to apply to universities in the fall so i want to get as much done now instead of leave it to the last semester. Should i still take it online? if thats my only choice?
