any suggestions on a good textbook?

I'm in the same situation as you, I need to pick up a good diffeq review textbook.

The two suggested were: Differential Equations, by Boyce and DiPrima - the classic standard. Used as an intro diffeq textbook at just about every university.
also: Differential Equations and Applications, by Braun - same content, but presented at higher level

I will probably get the Braun since I need a review as preparation for a partial differential equations class, but you can probably start out with Boyce and DiPrima.

I'll second Boyce if you're just starting out.

thanks! Boyce it is, then

There are many pretty bad differential equations books out there with the one by Zill being one of them.
