I'm not sure how to proceed. Does the 2007 edition have 3 different practice tests from those in the 2005 edition? If so, I think I'd be interested in buying both to get 6 full length practice tests. If not, could someone let me know. In that case, I'll just buy the 2007 edition, since it probably has the most updated advice.

Hmm. I think each test should have the test form on the first page, which might be four digits and a letter. If someone who has one of the guides would post what edition they have and the three test forms, and someone else has the other guide, we can figure it out.

Oh...no, apparently they've renumbered the tests with generic test forms for the book, so that won't help. They aren't like the ones in the Preparing for the ACT booklet and on the sample tests, which actually identify each unique test form.

I decided to call up ACT, Inc. and ask the source. From a customer service rep's mouth:

"The books offer the same tests. The only differences: (1) the look on the cover and (2) the updated advice on registering for the ACT, percentile rankings, and college readiness standards."
