So I scored 790 on the math section. I had 760 earlier and practiced so much because I wanted the magical 800. But Nope.
Would colleges view 800 much higher than 790? Like, does the 800 give out a magical vibes to adcoms like it does to me? Or is it just the same?
I’m applying for Engineering.
Should I retake the SAT to get that 800 or just let it be? It’s so disappointing and heartbreaking to know that you got one stupid question wrong and that’s killing my mind.
If a college rejects you with a 790, it is un likely that they would have accepted you with an 800. The difference is statistically insignificant. Aside from taking time to hone other parts of your application, retaking the test could be viewed as being an academic drone who has nothin g better to do on a Saturday.
