Difference between a B.A. and B.S.

I was looking through the UCDavis general catalogue and saw that Biological Science is offered both as a Bachelor of Arts and as a Bachelor of Science. I’m just wondering what’s the difference between a B.A. and B.S. Is one regarded higher than another? Also, I noticed that a B.S. requires a lot more units to obtain… (105-115 units), while the B.A. needs only 78-95 units. If you’re pre-med… which might be better?

Also, does anyone know someone that has successful double majored with Biological Science being one of the major?.. I heard it’s suicide.

Also, how hard is it to change majors at UCD? I got accepted as a Linguistics major but I’m having doubts. I’m planning on changing my major to Biological Science and/or International Relations.

well i think they have fewer requirements for the B.A. version so that people can be more flexible with the courses they take, and possibly double-major if they want.

i don't think changing majors is that hard... it involves filling out a request... you just have to satisfy the prerequisites for the major you want to declare

bumpity bumpity bump bump

I think B.S. is more technical...
