difference between CAPS program & asian studies major w/ East Asian concentration?

different departments located in different buildings, so

which is better, basically

do the faculty overlap?

I want to do FALCON next year

In a few places they do. I am also thinking about FALCON for next year. The largest difference is the junior spring/senior fall away from campus in CAPS, as well as a more political/economic focus (at least that is the way it seemed in the course listings for the major).

i'm doing double major in biology and asian studies. East Asian concentration is actually like a minor and Asian Studies is the major. If you want a minor, East Asian concentration requires 18 credits, or complete 36 credits in Asian department and you get a major done.

The humanities type classes taught are generally interesting, but I don't know what to do with the Asian major as far as finding a job is concerned, so my primary major is still bio, but it's a nice break from all the science classes I take.
