Hi guys,
What exactly is the difference between The school of computer Science and the ECE course at Carnegie Institute of technology.
Is the degree at that school of computer science not an engineering degree ?
Coz here in India, We have simply Engineering in Computer Science ( ECS ). I really don' know what to go for.
Please clarify guys. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got other threads for a similar problem.

ECE deals more with hardware while in SCS, you are basically only required to take programming classes. Also, SCS involves a lot of math which you don’t have to know if you’re are doing ECE.

SCS at CMU is a lot more competitive than ECE.

Thanks …
