difference between courses in 100's and 200's

as an incoming freshman, are the courses in the 200's only for sophomores or are they more difficult/can freshman take them

Awww, how precious.

dude use some common sense! It varies!

why do i feel that questions like that are the reason freshmen get hazed?

ok great thanks for the insight!

go easy on the guy/girl , I am pretty sure you can take them, but you are very likely to get bumped as the people in that major, and upperclassmen needing the course are going to get priority.

muchas de gracias dirthog

There’s no need to take 200 level courses as an incoming freshmen (you have 4 years to do that). I would stick with the intro classes and 100 levels.

Was there a specific class you had in mind?

just some history classes
thanks for the input and not being totally rude like the other people who live on this website 24/7

Are you thinking of taking 200 level classes to fulfill AXLE requirements? It might be best to stick with 100 level classes & intro classes, as Nicole07 suggests, at first. You will get a better idea about the 200’s once you have been at school & talk to other students (and your advisor). You can always register for 200’s 2nd term if you decide they are right for you. Take it slow your first semester - there is a lot more to adjust to than just academics when you go away to school.
