What do each of these plans convey about interest in the college? would ED I have been more of a boost than ED II?

They are both a boost. EDII is for people that did not get into their first ED school.

Not necessarily. ED II comes in handy for applicants who might have been involved in a fall sport or who needed to wait for a late fall SAT score.

ED II + QuestBridge Finalist is a good combination right?

Sounds like a strong combo to me given QuestBridge's presence in Pomona admissions.

Good luck!

I am scared as my midyear grades show a general decline but my schedule is at least 10 times as hard as last years. Then again I know Pomona is not like other schools where grades are much more important. Someone with an 85 got into Pomona from my school (85 overall). But he was from a similar background as me. At the worst I will have an 88 this term for an overall gpa of 91.2. Weighted my gpa is about a 96 though (grade x 1.10). don't know if colleges will clauclate weighted for me as our school doesnt weight well not anymore. sorry for the long post. I am just so scared about not getting in.

Also: EDII is good for people who are indecisive and a nervous wreck about college admissions in general and didn't get out to see the school until December.

(not that I would do anything like that... ;))
