Difference between ENGRI111 and ENGRI102 - Nanotech

What is the difference between ENGRI111 "Nanotechnology" and ENGRI102 "Introduction to Nanoscience and Nanoengineering"? I guess 111 is offered by the MatSci dept and 102 is offered by Engineering Physics but I'd like to know the difference. Thanks.

I took Nanotechnology... it's one of the hardest ENGRIs... I would only recommend it if you're really interested in that field and are really considering AEP, ECE, or MatSci.

As a CS, I was a little out of my league (but still pulled off a B, somehow).

I took 102 as a recommendation from a friend and it was my favorite class last semester. 102 is lab-based, 111 is lecture-based--in other words, 102 means playing with really expensive toys and 111 means hearing about them. 102 was also much smaller last semester, which meant better contact with a great professor, and I'm pretty sure the median grade was higher too. Checking out next semester's professors on ratemyprofessor should help, but I'd definitely go with 102. (As a result of that class I'm currently an intern at an electron/ion microscopy company.)

Cool, thanks for the insights.

How does everyone feel about the signals and telecommunications ENGRI?
