Hey guys, so I got accepted as an undergrad freshman, I want to know the difference between a Finance major and a Management major, accounting is out of the way because I find it too boring, so I have to choose between these two. Thanks.

errr usc doesnt have finance major or management major…or do they??? somebody correct me if i am wrong…i find marshall website unhelpful

They have a concentration. Look at the different departments within Marshall and you can do a wide variety of concentrations within them.

To OP, if you want to go into IBanking, PE, HF, etc., do Finance. If you want to do something other than that, management should be fine. Just my two cents.

So Finance will be more to the economics side whereas management will be more to the marketing, business things right?
