Difference between Freshman online application and common app application for UOP?

what is the difference between freshman online application and common app application on UniversyofthePacific.com?

Am I supposed to fill out both? I also heard that it's easier to get in if you do the optional essay.. where could I find that? I'm so lost! :( Thank you!

Meh 50ish views but no reply… anyone? D:

This is their supplement. It has no essay so you must be referring to using the common ap which has an essay. Perhaps their regular ap doesn’t require one.

When you apply to schools through the common ap, then those with supplements come up when you add and click on the college you are planning to apply to. If you are applying to more than one school that accept the common ap then it is just easier to use it and then fill in each school’s supplement.

Most supplements just have basic data like your major. More academic schools ask for more input which may be short answer questions or short essays.

Good luck.

Haha thank you! I guess I’ll do both the common app and their freshman application  Thank you! Their regular application has a box for essay, but it’s not required. I still did it anyways!

You shouldn’t need to do both. If you plan to apply to other common ap schools, then that is the easiest thing to do and you will be set to send it to other places. Good luck!
