so im a junior and have a 3.56 gpa, and assuming that I get a 4.0 my second semester, I will have a 3.63-3.64. but, I just bombed some tests and hw troubles, so I might end up getting one or even two B's. even so, I will still end up with a 3.61 or 3.62. so does it really make a difference when im applying to colleges with a 3.62 rather than 3.64?

btw, im look at colleges like the UC's, Carnegie mellon(cit), nyu, etc.

No, but they both seem kind of low.

^ yea, I figured they were, most of the ones I listed were reaches/dream sch., but I think I can safely get into uci/ucsd, and maybe even have a shot at NYU. sat’s are in the upper 21’s if it help any… help please!!! what can I do to make up

Depending on your major/EC’s/etc. , you might have trouble getting into UCSD. UCI I’m not as sure but you should be able to get in as long as you have decent EC’s since your SAT is good. All this is assuming you have good course rigor.

To make it up, try to raise your GPA as high as possible in case you want to appeal a waitlist/denial. Also just keep expanding on your EC’s and whatnot.
