I'm a junior looking to apply to Columbia and I'm trying to find out some more information about the school.
I am thinking about majoring in computer science and maybe going into a medical field later.

I see that the computer science major is listed under both Columbia College and SEAS. What is the difference?

Well, I don't know for sure but my guess at it would be that the College focuses more on the pure sciences and the principals behind them. The SEAS will focus on the technical aspects of the sciences and the practical applications of them in the engineering world.
