Is there a difference in how the most selective colleges will look at someone with 3 800s and someone with 4? Or is 4 just overkill?

Almost everyone says that 4 is just overkill. Stick with your 3 800s, it’s safer.

Although, apparently some stanford rep said otherwise, also my parents are making me take two more next year after getting two 800s… but i think 3 is more than enough

The concensus is certainly not that four is overkill. The more good scores, the better; but the boost is minor.
