Difference between the two computer engineering majors?

<p>I just recently noticed that there are two different Computer Engineering programs in the Jacob School. One is offered through CSE, and the other one through ECE. I am a bit confused about their differences. Does each program have to take electives of its own department? Or do they have no differences at all? Thanks!</p>

The BS Computer Engineering program is jointly administered by the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Departments. The requirements for the Computer Engineering major at the ECE Department and the requirements for the Computer Engineering major at the CSE Department are identical. The only difference is that CE majors are administered by both departments. However, the degrees are the same, the courses are the same and the material you learn is exactly the same.
