Difference between volunteering and community service.

<p>OK, so if I'm volunteering with an organization (Council for American Islamic Relations) extensively and it's not really community service, can I put it as an extracurricular? They only allow college students to do internships, so it's the most that I can do and I'm really into it; it's more than community service, so should I put it as an EC?</p>
