Difference in a Quantitative Emphasis Econ degree and a regular Econ degree?

The Quantitative Emphasis degree is a BA, but still requires two levels of calc, one stats, and linear algebra and differential equations. The econ degree is a BS, and requires multivariable, two stats, and the same calc questions as mentioned above. Besides that I can't seem to tell the difference.

perhaps you should ask this question on your school’s forum?

Quantitative is more valued. You will probably learn more Econometrics (Econ math) while doing quantitative econ.

More or higher level math and statistics is better if you plan to go on to a PhD program in economics.
