Differences Between A+ and A- etc.

If your school does not make the differentiation between A+, A-, A (all 4.0) and B+, B B- (all 3.0) etc.

Do colleges make that differentiation?

On my transcript, it still has the A-, or the B+ (still has the - or + sign next to it), but it is not differentiated in my overall GPA. Do colleges look at your transcript and sort of “modify” your GPA?

Thanks

Maybe I was a bit confusing. Let’s say some schools calculate an A- as 3.66. If I have 10 A-'s show up on my transcript, technically, my school would still give me a 4.0. I’m asking if some colleges would take those 10 A-'s and convert that to a 3.66 GPA instead.
