So, I was just accepted and started to look up housing. Yeah… kind of have no idea what looks good. I couldn’t really find a thread with a mass gathering of descriptions of the dorms so, anyone care to help me out? Like what’s the difference between west north and south campus dorms? Are the dorms very different once you get past what side of campus? Also, if there’s a thread like mine on here please let me know so i don’t waste people’s time answering questions

South: 2 Person rooms, just one room with your beds & desks, one bathroom for the entire hall.

North: 4 person suites. One bedroom with two bunk beds, One room with 4 desks and 4 dressers, one bathroom per room.

West: Suite style, 2-4 people per room, famous for housing athletes and those who prefer living with those of the same (minority) race.

I would live in North because it’s MUCH closer to the business school and I’m in the scholars program. South is nice because it’s closer to the Union. West is closest the the RPAC and Stadium. All 3 are about equal distance from the oval and the majority of classrooms. Engineering/Business students tend to stay on North campus to be closer to their classes.

Hope this helps.

Go to the housing site and do a room search which will give you a better idea of the layout for rooms in each dorm and the amenities each offers.
