Differences between BSE with concentration in mechanical and BSME

I am studying in a university where my degree is B.S engineering with concentration is mechanical. Is there a big difference between that and B.S in mechanical engineering?

I contacted my adviser there and he said it is the same but I feel like it is not because of the lack of the labs in my check sheet. For example, we have circuits and materials classes without lab on my transcript. And the labs in the universities are very limited. And the fact that I am not required to take Calc III. And we

This makes me think about transferring to another university where I can get a mechanical engineering major.

Please help me, should I transfer or I should not?

Check to see whether course work that typically makes up an ME major at other schools is available within your school’s engineering department.

However, calculus 3 or multivariate calculus is generally required for engineering majors. http://www.abet.org/uploadedFiles/Accreditation/Accreditation_Step_by_Step/Accreditation_Documents/Current/2013_-_2014/eac-criteria-2013-2014.pdf</a> (page 16) indicates that ABET accredited mechanical engineering programs include multivariate calculus.
