Different Approaches to Common App Essays

<p>I was wondering if I could get some opinions on whether or not it would be a good idea to take a different approach to the common app essays. My main worry with this is that colleges will think I am not answering their question and just making my response fit the question I want to respond to. </p>

<p>For example, in the most influential person one saying that multiple people have been the most influential.</p>

<p>I think you are totally within the scope of the prompt to answer a question that way. I don’t see why an adcom would refuse to read your essay on the basis of a technicality involving the subject matter.</p>
